Southlands receives planning consent!

Our single storey, rear extension to a 1960's bungalow, located in Pennington, received planning consent last week - hoorah!

The project links the house to the detached garage and creates an open-plan arrangement, providing the Client with a large kitchen/sitting/breakfast space to the rear of the dwelling.

The extension also allows the Client to have a spacious, separate dining space looking towards the garden. The extension is to be built using white brick and all of the windows within the extension will have a grey/bronze finish externally.

Underfloor heating will be installed throughout the dwelling and all of the existing artex finishes, will be skimmed with a fresh coat of plaster, to create new smooth surfaces throughout.

 

The extension links the house to the garden. It opens up the rear elevation to allow for lots of light to pour into the extension and two new rooflights will allow more light to be drawn in from above.
